ASK, a global leader in contactless technology for mass transit, has been selected by Transport for London (TFL) organization to issue the first 3.5 million cards of the 4-year contract they have signed.

ASK offers an unrivalled experience in contactless media for large public transportation networks and has already issued over 18 million cards for London mass transit users.

“This new order strengthens our long time relationship with London and it rewards ASK global customer performance”, says Patrick Sure, Transport Business Unit Director at ASK.

Based on its unique innovative technology, ASK contactless cards are manufactured in its headquarters facilities in the Sophia Antipolis technology park, in the South of France. London is one of the 25 capital cities ASK serves with its comprehensive range of contactless products.

Based on NXP MIFARE DESFire™ EV1 chips, the cards allow visitors and residents to travel on London buses, trams, Tube, DLR, London Overground, National Rail, the Emirates Air Line and some Riverboat services in a multimodal and seamless experience.
