The European bike-sharing operator, nextbike by TIER, has announced a significant expansion into Portugal, bringing its innovative bike-sharing system to the City of Barcelos for the first time. Following its recent success in Spain, nextbike is set to revolutionise sustainable mobility in the coastal city.

Partnering with the local public transport provider, Transdev Portugal, nextbike will introduce the tuba bike system, featuring 200 of its latest GPS-locatable SMARTbikes.
